This Cherry Vanilla Smoothie Bowl has summer written alllllll over it. With fresh cherries AND frozen dark cherries from Meijer as well as Silk coonutmilk and Vega protein + greens, this is a delicious and healthy way to start your day!
The Vega Protein + Greens has 20g of plant-based protein and a serving of greens (including organic alfalfa, spinach, broccoli, and kale powders), and it blends in beautifully with the fruit and seeds.
The Silk Unsweetened Coconutmilk is super creamy, has absolutely no added sugar, has more than 50% more calcium than dairy milk, and is non-gmo.
The chia seeds are a great source of fiber, protein, and healthy fat!

Ingredients
---FOR THE SMOOTHIE---
3⁄4 cups Silk Unsweetened Coconutmilk
1 scoop of Vega Protein + Greens powder
6 fresh cherries (pitted and stems removed)
1 cup frozen cherries
1 Frozen Banana
1 tablespoon Chia Seeds
1⁄2 tablespoon Maple Syrup (or sweetener of choice, optional)
--------------FOR TOPPING-----------
more fresh cherries (halved)
1 tablespoon toasted coconut shreds
1 teaspoon Chia Seeds
1⁄2 tablespoon chopped dark chocolate (make sure it's dairy-free if you're vegan)
Instructions
In a high speed blender, combine the smoothie ingredients.
Blend until smooth.
Pour into a bowl and then arrange toppings in a pretty pattern.
